Self-adjusting bearings In cases where the load bearing capacity is not sufficient, the self-adjusting bearings can also be made of two rows of bullets and an outer ring whose grooves and bullets are bent, and this causes the bearings to self-adjust when the shaft is deflected. The price of self-adjusting bearings is higher than other types of bearings, firstly due to having special technology in production and secondly due to having two rows of bullets and as a result using more material in production which leads to larger cones and cages.
